Winegardner Racing Season 2007!
Friday May 25th, 2007 - The 11T Sticks Pest Control/WRP Racing Engines Team was on fire Friday night at the ASCS on Tour Event at Virginia Motor Speedway. T.J. Winegardner - won the Brodix Heat Race. T.J. Winegardner - won the six car, five lap Pole Dash. T.J. Winegardner - Started on the Pole in the A-Main, lead two laps, and then engaged in a crusade for second place against Jason Johnson. The two cars were slicing, dicing, and repeatedly exchanging slidejobs. With five laps to go Johnson tried another slidejob but didn't clear Winegardner and the cars touched, sending them both to the pits. Travis Rilat went on to win the feature. WOW! What a night for the Young Gun! Watching the Indy 500 and reminiscing Friday nights exhilerating race gets T.J.'s one track racing mind dreaming of winning his first Indy 500 race...

2007 REBEL REGION CHAMPION!!!
Saturday June 30, 2007-Arkadelphia, Ala. A bittersweet victory for the 11T Team. After starting third in the feature and making a hard charge to the front, T.J. and Adams battled for the winning position for ten laps. Kenny Adams suffered a fuel line failure at lap 19 and T.J. raced his way to his first ASCS win. In all the excitement, the team forgot to report directly to the scales resulting in a DQ. A huge bummer for the entire team, but in the back of his mind, T.J. will always know this race as his first win. Congratulations T.J. and Sticks Pest Control/WRP Racing Engines Team for all your hard work! Team Lesson Learned: ALWAYS report to the scales, especially after a win!!

Saturday July 14th, Fayettville Motor Speedway NC - A little bit of bad "Friday the 13th" luck seemed to have transferred to the 11T for Saturday night in Fayettville! After getting the car ready for the race, the 11T crew put T.J. out on the pole for the heat race. He slipped back one spot in the heat, finishing second and placing him starting fourth in the feature. The team made some final modifications, and T.J. took the Sticks Pest Control 11T out onto the track for the feature. Within the first five laps, the steering box locked up on the car, sending T.J. off the track! He was able to get pulled back on to the track and continue the race. T.J. figured the locked up steering box was a fluke and would not happen again. Lady luck took her revenge when on the next lap after the restart it locked up again sending T.J. off the track for a second time!! After that the 11T was done for the night, finishing 13th overall in the feature. The team will get the problem fixed and be better than ever in two weeks up at the Knoxville Raceway for Knoxville Nationals!!
Saturday September 1st, Green Valley Speedway - T.J. was selected to drive with an In-Car camera! Click here to see footage! Saturday started out good for T.J. and the 11T team, with a win in the first heat race of the night, starting him second in the feature. The feature got off to a wild start, with T.J. battling to take first position from Brad Bowden (who started on the pole). T.J. took the lead from Bowden on lap 10 and held it for two laps. He was unable to fend off Bowden any more, and on lap 12 just before the first caution flag flew, T.J. lost the lead and fell back to 2nd...When the caution flew on lap 13 (Todd Fayard with a cut tire), T.J. had a tire go down and had to get it changed. The team got the tire changed quickly and got T.J. back out on the track, but in the back. In the last 12 laps of the feature, T.J. worked his way up to get a top ten finish, ending up in 6th!! Great job 11T!!
Sunday September 2nd, Magnolia Motor Speedway - Another good night for the 11T! After winning the first heat, and finishing 4th in the Dash, T.J. went on to a solid finish in the A-Main as well! T.J. kept pace with the leader Michael Dupuy for the entire race, finishing second in front of Michael Herrington!! This keeps T.J. in solid lead of the ASCS Rebel Region Points!!!
